How to coach, or parent, a kid that’s really struggling, according to Coach John Calipari

As a coach you are bound to encounter at some point in your coaching journey how to coach a struggling player. The same can probably be said from a parenting perspective as well.

Go at them too hard and you might do harm that’s tough, or impossible, to undo but go too soft on them and never really push them to the extent that they’re capable of.

It can be a slippery slope.

Kentucky head coach John Calipari, who has worked with some of the biggest names in basketball, recently provided some insight on how he approaches that situation during a post game press interview after a member of the media asked about some the struggles of one of his players.

He was talking about, Player Hamidou Diallo's struggles.

This is really great stuff and remember it's Men College Basketball in the US which is huge!
